Mutton Busting
Sheep Contractor: Thompson Ranch
We would like to thank our Sponsors Mick and Andrea Tully with the Clayton Tully Memorial Foundation. These new mutton busting chutes are dedicated to Clay, a Meridian Lions Rodeo Mutton Busting champ!
This pre-rodeo event is a crowd favorite! Sheep are loaded in the mini
bucking chutes just like the bucking horses and bulls. The “Little Buckaroos”
are loaded on their sheep and when they’re ready to ride, the chute is
opened and away they go!
Participant Requirements:
-
MUST be between 4-7 years old as of June 1st, 2025.

given out each night.
